Shopping & Showroom

Q: Where is Under the Roof located?
A: Our 30,000 sq. ft. showroom is at 406 West Main St., Waynesboro, VA. We’re open Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Q: Can I purchase items directly off the showroom floor?
A: Yes! Much of our furniture is available right off the floor and we also often have backstock in the warehouse. If something has sold, don’t worry—we can place a special order for you.

Q: Do you offer design assistance?
A: Absolutely, and it's free!  Our sales design consultants can help you choose fabrics, finishes, and styles to make sure your furniture fits perfectly in your home.

Orders & Customization

Q: How long do special orders take?
A: Lead times vary by manufacturer, but most custom orders arrive within 4-6 weeks. We’ll give you an estimate for any product you may be interested in.  

Q: Can I customize fabrics, finishes, or sizes?
A: Yes! Many of our brands—including Amish furniture, IMG, Natuzzi, and Bassett—offer extensive customization options.

Q: Do you require a deposit for custom orders?
A: Yes, a deposit is required to start your order. The balance is due upon delivery or pickup.

Delivery & Pickup

Q: Do you offer delivery?
A: Yes. We provide professional delivery and setup in the local area for a fee. Long-distance delivery can be arranged upon request.

Q: Can I pick up my order instead?
A: Of course. We’ll schedule a convenient pickup time and have your items ready. Please bring appropriate transportation and padding.

Returns & Exchanges

Q: What is your return policy?
A: Floor-stock purchases must be returned within 7 days for a store credit. Special orders are non-refundable, as they are made just for you.

Q: What if my furniture arrives damaged?
A: Please notify us immediately. We’ll work with the manufacturer or our delivery team to repair or replace the item.

Payments & Financing

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards, checks, and cash.

Q: Do you offer financing?
A: Yes, financing options are available through Synchrony. Click here for the application.

Q: Do you sell gift cards?
A: Yes, gift cards are available in any amount.
