At Under the Roof, we select the very best brands and furniture makers to bring you quality home furnishings and accessories. We have been a furniture store since 1994, and we are locally owned and operated. We offer delivery and free in-store design consultations. Much of our quality furniture is American or Amish made. Some of our most popular brands are Bassett, Hooker, Bradington-Young, Natuzzi, Canal Dover, Rowe and Younger. We offer a wide array of styles from very modern to traditional, to modern farmhouse. The imported brands we select are of fine quality, such as Natuzzi leather. Our large showroom is 30,000 square feet and is located in the heart of Downtown Waynesboro. Convenient parking and great restaruants are just outside our front door. We take all major credit cards and offer financing to qualified customers through Synchony.

Free Interior Design Consultations

We offer complimentary design consultations with experienced designers. Visit our showroom and meet our designers. They are ready to listen and help you create a beautiful space. Feel free to bring room measurements, photos or fabric clippings. After meeting in the store, you and your designer may decide it would be helpful for the designer to see your space in person. In home consultations are available for homes within 30 miles of our store. Homes beyond 30 miles will incur a nominal milage fee.

We opened our doors in 1994 on West Main Street in Charlottesville as Under the Roof. In 2007 we moved to Downtown Waynesboro and began to refine our product offerings to include many American made and designer brands.
